RWS Group has acquired an investment area located in Gizycko, also called the capital of sailing – the biggest city located on the trail of The Great Masurian Lakes Trail.
On the parcel with a total area of 4,38 ha, the new Retail Park will be constructed, its footprint area will be more than 11 000 m2. It will be the biggest retail and service facility in the city. Currently, the process of conceptual and design work is taking place which is accompanied by the commercialization process. Some of the well-known European brands have already declared their participation in the project.
A convenient location is an additional advantage, the retail park will be located nearby the city center and will be surrounded by numerous multi-family buildings and estates of single-family houses. About 35 000 people live within a reach of about 5 minutes by car, 45 000 within a reach of about 10 minutes by car, and 55 000 within a reach of about 15 minutes by car. The total community of Gizycko county is about 60 000 people who will become the customers of the tenants in the new retail park.
The retail park will be located nearby the bypass i.e. trunk highway number 59 and the biggest roundabout in Gizycko (Obwodowa St. and Świderska St.) which is one of the most overburdened junctions in the city – its trafficability performance is about 1 589 cars per hour.
Not only is Gizycko the main resort in The Masurian Lake District, but it is also a very important economic center in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. For the last years, Gizycko has been developing dynamically and there is every indication that it will be developing in the future.
